By way of explanation, Luca is my cousin on my mother's side. His Dad, Rolf, was my mother's brother. He is still an Eichenberg (my mother's maiden name.) His wife is Guilli and his son is Marco. His mother is Loretta and his step-father is Gianfranco. My uncle Rolf and Aunt Loretta were divorced in 1965/6 when Luca was only 3 years old. Rolf died in 1984 I think. Luca lives in Trieste, Italy and it was my first trip back after nearly 50 years - I last visited with my mom in 1958! Luca was not born yet. [1] |

His mother had succeeded to get him apprenticed to a large tobacco company through an influential director of Hamburg's large firm, Reemstsma. She didn't know at that time that she wouldn't see him for 22 years. Worked for the Greek underground during the war. Committed suicide. [1] |
