    Holocaust On Kristalnacht was taken in. In 1939, he wanted to emigrate but couldn't do so as he couldn't satisfy the Nazi tax requirements.
    From 1938, he worked in construction in Goettingen until March 20, 1942. As his wife couldn't stay in Adelebsen she returned to Soegel.
    He was deported with his brother Kurt to Warsaw Ghetto.  [1]
