Biography Kurt Heinz Meyerhoff was born in 1902 in Giessen, Germany. His MD was from Hessische Ludwigs Universitat Medizinische Fakultat 1926. He was licensed in New York State in 1935. He was an obstetrician-gynecologist, board-certified, fellow of ACOG. His office was at 947 State St, Schenectady, in 1950 and 1963. He was an attending physician at St Clare's Hospital, Schenectady NY 12304, and Ellis Hospital, Schenectady 12308.

Dr. Meyerhoff was an Ob-Gyn in Schenectady with an excellent reputation in
the community. I do remember using him when I first came to this community as a visitor in the middle fifty's. My recollection was that he was a very pleasant cheerful, person, kind and caring, but very professional.

When we moved back to the community in 1972, I opened an Art Needlework shop and Grete was a customer. She was a very interesting and sweet lady. She was an avid tennis player well into her seventy's but the good doctor had urged her to stop playing as she got a little older because he didn't think it was good for her. He pre-deceased her. (Guess the tennis did help her enjoy a few more years!)

She was an avid baseball fan and followed the world series routinely. I
remember that on more than one occassion she would look at ther watch in my shop and indicate that she had to get home to watch the game. She wouldn't miss them for anything.  [1
